Here are just a few ideas of things to do during your stay here with us;
If you would like to explore the area with the help of some local experts with bikes, kayaks or if you fancy some rock climbing Exmoor Adventures offers a range of activities to explore the beautiful Exmoor area, they can even offer tree climbing here at Horner Farm.
We couldn't be better placed for walking, within our local area the Coleridge Way footpath goes right by our farm gate, the coast path is just a short distance away and with the national nature reserve of Horner Woods and Dunkery Beacon on our doorstep you are spoilt for choice.
If you wish to explore on your Mountain bike there are brilliant routes to be found, Exmoor Adventures offer a days guiding or bike hire and you can use our very own Exmoor Uplift Service to help you beat the climbs and get the most from your day, those staying at our Bed and Breakfast get one free lift included!
If you wish to explore the area on Horse back then Burrowhayes offer a great riding stables with horses and ponies for hire and only 2 minutes down the road from Horner Farm.
The coastline of Exmoor is spectacular with beautiful wooded valleys dropping down steeply to the beaches below, the pebbled beach of Bossington is only a short drive and walk away sitting in the perfect sheltered Porlock bay. The sandy beaches of North Devon are an hours drive away easy for a day trip from Horner. Our personal favourite is the sheltered cove of Wringcliff beach hidden below the valley of the rocks just outside Lynton.
